Story Behind the Song
This song
is the first of the three-song trilogy released on 18 September 2001,
written and produced in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on America
exactly one week earlier on September 11, 2001. Proceeds from the sale of
the special 3-song extended-play release are being directed toward the

I still
hear the echoes of your voice softly calling
Calling
to me one last time
Somehow
in that moment
As the
world came down around you
The voice
you needed most to hear was mine
All up
and down these concrete canyons
Through
the open skies far above
You were
calling to me one last time
And
whispering your love
They say
our dreams are echoes
Of hearts
that feel a longing
Babe I
long to hold you close tonight
Every
night I'm dreaming
You're
still lying here beside me
Now
nothing in my world feels right
But I
know someday the skies again will open
And
you'll hold me close in heaven far above
'Til then
you're calling to me
And I
still hear the echoes of your love
Thanks
for calling to me one last time
And
whispering your love, yes
You're
still calling to me
And I
still hear the echoes of your love
Echoes of
your love...
Echoes of
your love...
Echoes of
your love...
