Story Behind the Song
Written on Christmas Eve 2001. A sentimental reminiscence for a close friend celebrating her newborn daughter's first Christmas. She herself had been abandoned by her own father on Christmas Eve many years before when she was just 5 years old. She's never gotten over it. Written as Christmas gift. A message of hope and assurance sung to the gentle rocking reassuring rhythmes of a child's lullaby.
